Applications Engineering Manager - Midland, Texas
A world leader in design and manufacturing of sophisticated engineered products for the oil and gas industry is seeking an Applications Engineering Manager.
Requirements:
+ B.S. in Engineering, Mechanical or Petroleum preferred, with Master's degree preferred
+ At least 5 years experience serving the oil & gas production industry
+ At least 2 years experience with design engineering and well production methods for oil & gas
+ Experience in the design and optimization of sucker rods to differentiate from competitors
+ Experience publishing technical papers and making presentations to customers, API, and SPE
+ Knowledge of standard techniques and procedures for proper well bore designs
+ Knowledge of well optimization software, such as RodStar and S-rod
+ Experience building prototype software models for test and evaluation
+ Effectively train, educate, and guide internal subordinates and customers to optimize well production
+ Effectively prepare product specifications, analyze design, assist engineering, and resolve field issues
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
