A global manufacturing company is seeking a Cost Accountant to be responsible for job/project costs to ensure accuracy, compliance with company policies, and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Requirements:

+ B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field

+ At least 2 years experience performing job costing or project costing for a manufacturer

+ Knowledgable in cost accounting or project accounting as it relates to manufacturing

+ Understanding of booking cost and revenues impacted by manufacturing and accounting processes

+ Effectively reconcile costs with sales orders and revenue

+ Knowledge of general cost accounting principles - GAP

+ Detail-oriented, well organized, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

+ Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

+ Proven ability to provide complete internal and external customer service

+ Ability to research and use resources to effectively resolve discrepancies and issues

+ Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and database applications

Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
