A leading regional certified public accounting firm is seeking a Tax Accountant to work with a tax team to provide a full range of accounting services to business clients representing a wide variety of industries.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting

+ Compliance to the 150 hour rule and/or CPA

+ Minimum 2 years experience in tax accounting, and/or at least 1 busy season in public accounting

+ Working knowledge of GAAP and OCBOA

+ Knowledge and understanding of individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary income tax

+ General knowledge and understanding of estate, gift, nonprofit, and pension tax

+ Ability to perform various tasks associated with income tax planning, tax research, and tax returns

+ Detail-oriented and well organized

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Active member in local and national business organizations a plus

Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
