Director of Drafting & Design - Tulsa, Oklahoma
A growing leader in engineering, procurement, and construction for the oil & gas industry is seeking a Director of Drafting & Design to lead a department of AutoCAD Drafters and CADWorx Designers.
Requirements:
+ At least 5 years experience as Supervisor or Manager of at least 10 drafters & designers
+ At least 15 years experience in design, engineering, and construction for oil & gas projects
+ Experience with design, engineering, and construction of gas plants and refineries is preferred
+ Experience with AutoCAD and CADWorx
+ Ability to create and check PFDs, P&IDs, 3D models, piping plans, foundations, structural steel, etc.
+ Knowledge of industry and regulatory codes and standards
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to train and mentor drafters and designers to build a strong effective team
+ Ability to effectively work with Drafters, Designers, Project Engineers, Project Managers, etc.
+ Effectively hire, train, develop, and appraise drafting & design staff
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
