Director of Engineering - Tulsa, Oklahoma
A growing leader in design and manufacturing of engineered-to-order industrial machines is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead and guide the engineering team through transition and growth.
Requirements:
+ B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
+ At least 10 years of engineering experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
+ Experience with electro-mechanical engineered-to-order products or machines is strongly preferred
+ At least 5 years experience managing engineering and design teams.
+ Ability to apply engineering calculations and process in the design of heavy industrial equipment
+ Working knowledge of SolidWorks
+ Experience using FEA software and performing fatigue life calculations
+ Ability to optimize labor material cost through engineering processes, FEA, value analysis, and FEMA
+ Ability to meet ISO 9001 standards
+ Experience designing products for reliability, durability, serviceability, and manufactureability
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, innovative problem-solving skills, and work process improvement skills
+ Must be a positive, team player, capable of effectively leading, managing, and growing talented teams
Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
