Director of Manufacturing - Tulsa, Oklahoma
A world technological leader in design and manufacturing of large ASME steel products is seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead and manage all facets of their fabrication facility to include heavy & special fabrication, controls, machine shop, purchasing, shipping, and manufacturing engineering.
Requirements:
+ 4 year college degree, B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
+ At least 5 years experience managing a large heavy fabrication shop with 3 to 12 month lead times
+ At least 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment, and 15 years overall experience
+ Knowledge of ASME codes and ability to interpret mechanical fabrication drawings
+ Thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, ever-changing manufacturing environment
+ Proven ability to overcome challenges and meet deadlines
+ Strong organizational, managerial, communication, leadership, and people skills
+ Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety practices
+ Able to apply modern shop technology, practices, and procedures to optimize throughput and labor
+ Effectively implement quality systems and standards similar to ISO, Lean, or Six Sigma
Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
