General Manager - Tulsa, Oklahoma

A world leader in design and manufacturing of large structural steel products is seeking a General Manager to lead all facets of their heavy manufacturing/fabrication facility. 

Requirements:

+ 4 year college degree, Masters degree is preferred

+ At least 15 years of related manufacturing/fabrication experience

+ At least 3 years experience managing heavy steel fabrication, paint, and assembly with long lead times

+ At least 3 years experience leading/managing all departments within a heavy manufacturing facility

+ Thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, ever-changing manufacturing environment

+ Proven ability to overcome challenges and meet deadlines

+ Strong organizational, managerial, communication, leadership, and people skills

+ Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety practices

+ Able to apply modern shop technology, practices, and procedures to optimize throughput and labor
+ Effectively implement quality systems and standards similar to ISO, Lean, or Six Sigma
