Global Fabrication Manager - Tulsa, Oklahoma
A global leader in engineering and fabrication of industrial equipment is seeking a Global Fabrication Manager to ensure quality, timely procurement, & delivery of fabrication equipment from global vendors.
Requirements:
+ At least 8 years of related experience
+ At least 2 years experience with project management, procurement, and/or production planning for
steel fabrication of engineered industrial equipment
+ Position will require about 55% international travel with some limited notice
+ Broad understanding of fabrication industry and contract language
+ Ability to work autonomously
+ Effectively work with project engineers and other personnel to submit RFQs and evaluate vendor bids
+ Effective negotiation skills
+ Exercise high level of communication with vendor to drive the project through fabrication to delivery
+ Effectively communicate with shop floor personnel, vendors, and executive management
+ Willingness to assist Quality Control
+ Strong management, organizational, decision making, and leadership skills
Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
