A global manufacturing company is seeking a Lead Cost Accountant to be responsible for job costs to ensure accuracy, compliance with company policies, and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Requirements:

+ B.S. degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience

+ At least 4 years experience performing cost or project accounting for a manufacturer

+ Knowledge of manufacturing and accounting process flows and impact to booking cost and revenues

+ Accounting experience with Work in Process - WIP and consolidated costs

+ Knowledge of general cost accounting principles - GAP

+ Experience with international accounting a plus

+ Perform reconciliation of costs with sales orders and revenue processes

+ Prepare schedules for tax and audit requirements on quarterly and annual basis

+ Effectively research and apply variances to associated jobs

+ Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

+ Accurately review job costs, research and effectively resolve discrepancies

+ Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and database applications

Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
