A leading manufacturer of industrial engineered products is seeking a Senior Buyer.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree preferred, or Associates degree with equivalent direct experience

+ At least 5 years overall buying/purchasing experience for an industrial equipment manufacturer

+ Experience purchasing materials/components for mechanical products is preferred

+ Experience negotiating prices and expediting delivery for materials, equipment, and supplies

+ Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and quickly transition from one task to another

+ Experience with MRP/ERP systems

+ Excellent organizational skills

+ Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

+ Experience with continuous improvement using Lean and/or Six Sigma is a plus

+ APICS, CPM, or CPIM certification is a plus

Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
