Weld Manager - Tulsa, Oklahoma
A well-established, leading manufacturer of large steel products, with facilities across North America is seeking a Weld Manager to provide expertise and leadership in advanced automated welding.
Requirements:
+ 4 year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ At least 5 years supervisory experience in a heavy manufacturing facility
+ At least 2 years experience in a manufacturing/production manager position
+ Expertise in advanced automated welding techniques related to manufacturing heavy steel products
+ Experience with quality, continuous improvement, and safety initiatives
+ Experienced in coaching-style management and development of management systems
+ Good data-based decision-making skills, and well organized
+ A systems thinker, process focused, and able to successfully trouble-shoot the manufacturing process
+ Good writing skills and able to effectively communicate with upper-level management
+ Trained and experienced in Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing is preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
